I have seen many financial coaches get caught in this trap. If you are also stuck here, keep reading.
I will share a step-by-step process to overcome this as a financial coach.
Step-1 Content Creation (Share your Financial Knowledge)
If you think there is a lot of competition in the market, and other financial coaches are also creating content, how would you do it? This is your biggest misconception. Remember, everyone is different. Everyone has their unique ability.
If you are reading this article, do you think there are no other articles? There are a lot, but currently, you are reading it because it is my unique way of writing the article.
Not only this, but I also understand the core problems of financial coaches. That’s the only reason.
Now it doesn’t matter “how many people are reading it” because you are only looking for a few people who are interested in your financial coaching services.
So start creating content.
What content should you create as a financial coach?
Now it’s time to brainstorm and remember the past when you were serving your friends and known circle.
Just remember your past meetings and ask yourself:
1. What were their questions?
2. What problems were they facing?
3. What permanent solution did you give them?
Now list down whatever is in your mind.
Walaah! Your content is ready.
Just organize it.
Make a video, post, and blog about it. And share it on all your social media channels. Now you might have this question:
Q: If I share my knowledge with people, won’t I lose my clients because now they can do it themselves?
No, it won’t happen. Let me share an example.
You are a financial coach. A person goes through your videos and learns how to select a company in the stock market to start their investing journey.
He implements it and gains some confidence.
Now, picking a stock is his main goal.
No….Then what is his main goal?
He wants to achieve financial freedom.
You already have a high-value + high-ticket product/service in place that will help him achieve this goal.

In the next step, I will share a weapon that would attract quality people into your system.
Step-2 Create Free Resources (Align To Your Financial Services)
When you have the attention of people through content creation, now it’s time to attract the right people into your system. Remember, it doesn’t matter if 100 people are watching your content or 1,000.
You only need a bunch of people to generate revenue. So it’s time to “give some free resources.”
Mention this “free resource” in your videos or content.
Tell something like this:
“I have made a free training video or eBook for you. If you want it, just click the link below to get it.”
What can be your free resources?
Here is an example of one of my clients and also a friend who is a financial coach.
I told him to create an eBook or training to help people.
He created an eBook, and now he is planning to do a workshop in a nearby area where he’ll share the eBook and provide a link to download it for free from his website.
Then again, it depends on your service. It can be free training, a sheet, or a template.
But the rule is simple: “It must solve a problem.”

Now I am about to share an important element here: lead-capturing systems.
Step-3 Create A System (Automation, Website, Landing Page)
You have already started with content and completed the second step: a free resource.
It is time to generate leads.
How can you do it?
Q- Simply create a form on the landing page.
Q- Ask people to fill it out to access your free resources.
Q- After getting their email and phone number, send the resources via email.

Now let’s move toward the last step, where I will share how to use these details to get business.
Step-4 Reach Out and Close (Connect To Leads)
When you have the name, email, and number of your interested buyer:
1. Call or email them to get feedback on the resource.
a. Don’t pitch your financial coaching services at first.
b. Instead, ask about their challenges.
2. When you are clear about their challenges, take your final step:
a. Pitch them for a Zoom call to share a customized plan to help them.
Tips:
a. After scheduling the call, keep sending reminders so they don’t forget
It would increase the chances of them showing up for the meeting.
b. When they show up, pitch your services as a solution and help them move ahead.
